Email to task

I was hoping to be able to convert emails to tasks.
Converting an email to a task would mean

.. creating a task
.. archiving the email

unfortunately, the archiving part does not happen.
The Email Inbox is actually a backlog and therefore it would absolutely make sense to handle it similarly to the backlog.
